Artist’s Note:
As I began developing my approach to floral artwork, I experimented with different mediums and textures. This limited edition print captures the subtle variations and weathered texture of the gold leaf surface used in the original piece. I had layered the original gold leaf with acrylic ink, allowing my brush strokes to flow through the petals and create movement within the bloom.
The warm golden petals are complemented by the red, orange and yellow tones of the centre, while the layered greens of the stem and leaves ground the composition. This piece creates a peaceful yet captivating presence – a peony that feels both enduring and resilient, bringing together colour, texture and movement.
Processing & Shipping:
Each print is produced using archival pigment inks on acid-free, 100% cotton rag paper. Each print is signed and numbered by the artist, accompanied by a certificate of authenticity, and shipped unframed.
Shipping is currently available within Canada, excluding Saskatchewan. If you are located outside of Canada, please reach out using the Contact page and we can discuss whether an order may be possible.
As each print is made to order, please allow up to 10 business days for processing and preparation before shipping.
